Description: View of famed Kennecott Mine that is situated next to Kennicott Glacier near McCarthy Alaska. Once heralded as the richest known concentration of copper in the world. The mine operated from 1909 until 1938 and yielded over 1.183 billion pounds of copper

Ed is a landscape and nature photographer living in Eagle River, Alaska. After serving 28 years in the Air Force his focus turned to exploring this great state where he soon rekindled his love of photography and has been having a blast running amuck throughout Alaska, capturing her beauty and somehow staying one step ahead of the bears.

The metal medium allows for high definition and an almost 3-D effect. The inks are dye-infused onto a specially coated aluminum in a 400 degree heat press and sealed with a gemlike UV coating that is both waterproof and scratch resistant.
