Photo description: At the end of Turnagain Arm near Portage Junction, Alaska, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is mirrored by the glassy surface of the Placer River on September 28, 2016 at 2 am while high-speed auroras splash the sky with color. The camera exposure time was quite short, only 1-1/2 seconds, which means these lights were really bright!
