These handmade Birch earrings are made by local artists Colleen and Mark Walker! Inspired by the natural world around them.

"We are a fishing family and the fish we catch feed our family throughout the year. We take the skin, which most people discard as waste, and make beautiful jewelry from it. We use hypoallergenic stainless steel which is durable and Alaska tough.

Reel AK is a husband and wife team from Wasilla, Alaska. Mark is a commercial fisherman and Colleen is a science teacher. Together they design nature-made jewelry created with wild caught fish scales.
