These handmade fish scale earrings are made from real salmon scales by local artists Colleen and Mark Walker! These sockeye salmon were caught in the Cook Inlet of Alaska.

"We are a fishing family and the fish we catch feed our family throughout the year. We take the skin, which most people discard as waste, and make beautiful jewelry from it. We use hypoallergenic stainless steel which is durable and Alaska tough.
