This original acrylic painting is based off Carpathian Peak located at the back of the Turnagain Arm in the Placer Portage Valley. I painted this from a photo I took while flying up the Skookum Glacier next to Carpathian. This mountain is so captivating, it has captured my eye for many years.  Created by Alaskan artist Meg Smith.
