The largest member of the deer family, moose are massive mammals that can grow over 7 feet tall and are easily identified by their enormous antlers. Native to the colder areas of multiple continents, moose account for the second most injuries caused by an animal worldwide.

History: While the overall global moose population is not threatened and is in fact on the rise, scientists and researchers believe introducing more moose to a region that’s already densely inhabited by them can cause significant problems, the biggest of which is habitat destruction followed by a crash in the moose population.
