I buy my silver and copper by the ounce and cut, shape, solder and hammer each piece for building this elegant mixed metal design collection. Sundogs make their presence in our winter skies thanks in part to the freezing temperatures outside! Sundogs are created by the sunlight refracting off of plate shaped ice crystals in the cirrus clouds. The concentrated patches of sunlight vary from glowing halos around the sun to bright light spots glowing on both sides of the sun, just like a dog would follow it's favorite human.
