Photo Description: Took a day trip out to Matanuska Glacier and was rewarded with this shot of undercut of glacial runoff. It was a precarious climb down in to cavity as I was not sure I was going to be able to get out unscathed and dry.
Ed Boudreau is a landscape and nature photographer currently living in Eagle River, Alaska. Ed has been featured in Alaska Magazine and Last Frontier Magazine, and his work has been published in a variety of yearly calendars. His work has also won awards at the Alaska State Fair, Fur Rondy, Eagle River Bear Paw Festival, and Alaska Wild. He was awarded Alaska Magazine photo of the year in 2018 as well as the prestigious Rarified Light.
The metal medium allows for high definition and an almost 3-D effect. The inks are dye-infused onto a specially coated aluminum in a 400 degree heat press and sealed with a gemlike UV coating that is both waterproof and scratch resistant.
