Homer Whales are a one-of-a-kind soft toy or "Wishing Whale" made by hand out of repurposed garments and fabrics. Based in Homer, Alaska, Abigail Kokai is a talented fiber artist specializing in telling stories and documenting people and places using the quilted medium.
This "Small Right Whale" is approx. 12 inches/30cm long. It is made from locally-sourced, repurposed garments including denim, pants, plaid shirts, other garment items, and remnant fabric from a local outdoor textiles manufacturer. The stuffing is all new polyester fiberfill. Machine-washable with consideration to fabric, as some items may include leather, wool, or silk. No removable parts, safe for all ages.
Materials: Cotton, Flannel
*As these are handmade colors vary with each whale. We highly recommend a virtual shopping trip so you can pick out the one you like best.
