What is Seward First Friday?

On the first Friday of each month, in collaboration with the Seward Chamber of Commerce, Resurrect Art Coffee House Gallery, and the Alaska SeaLife Center, Forests, Tides, and Treasures hosts special receptions to showcase the work of local artists and craftsmen. Guests are encouraged to sign up ahead of time to win prizes at any of the participating locations. This is a great opportunity for community members to come out and browse the local shops, enjoy light refreshments, and meet our amazing local artists!

Friday August 7th, 2020

From 6-8pm, FTT hosted a gallery walk with featured work by artists Jena Petersen, Ariel Bracken, and Tanya Lester. Sweet and savory treats were provided by Kathy Wright from Bell Tower Bakery. Guests were invited to register to win prizes from Resurrect Art Coffee House, Starbird Studio, The Tufted Puffin, and FTT. Prizes included a customized hydroflask mug from Resurrect Art Coffee House, a $25 gift card and two small pieces of art from Starbird Studio, a $25 Gift Certificate for Frontier CBDS from The Tufted Puffin, and a $25 Gift Certificate and a coffee tumbler from FTT.
